TICKETS:

Tickets for all youth productions are first-come, first serve at the door, available 1/2 hour before showtimes. Tickets are free, with a suggested donation to the scholarship fund. We rarely sell out completely, so you are usually assured of a ticket even if you come at the last minute, but it's always nice to arrive about 15 minutes early.

tales and tricksters

Every summer we explore the tales of tricksters from around the world, and spend a week filled with movement and imagination to create a play! Develop your body, voice, and imagination while learning how to work together and share your story with an audience. Rehearse and perform on a real stage, with lights, props, and costumes!

Double your pleasure, double your fun! It’s a mad, mad world, especially when Shakespeare busts out the two sets of identical twins. This frothy romp ranks among the Bard's best for hilarity, with beautiful verse and a wealth of funny lines.

Last summer's week-long "Dream" was a smashing success, and we want to give more students a chance this year to experience the magic! Comedy and confusion reign in the best play ever written about mixed up potions and the brillance of bad acting. "Lord, what fools these mortals be!"

Young Baboons, a world premiere, commissioned for 5 members of the high school graduating class of 2008, by local playwright Scot Augustson .
 
Five fresh faced eighteen years olds, eager to start life's adventures are torn limb from limb by the snarling hyenas of fate. Awkward humiliation has never been so funny.
 
Scot Augustson is a Seattle based playwright whose work includes Intelligence; The Chris Schussler Incident; Plants & Animals; Why? Why? Why?; and Girls and Gods. He is the creator of everyone's favorite shadow puppet troupe, Sgt Rigsby & His Amazing Silhouettes. He is one of the core members of Printers' Devil Theater and recent had a very short film play at the Cannes Film Festival.

A Japanese samurai play with swordfighting, about a young girl who runs away from being 3rd wife to join bandits, a runaway prince, and a Puck-like demon creature to save herself and the forest.

Based on the awesome books by T.H. White, this is a perfect play for fans of The Hobbit, His Dark Materials, and The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Filled with adventure, jousting, and dozens of hilarious characters, the story also touches on very real questions of friendship, leadership, and whether Education prepares you for Life. Featuring guest appearances by beautiful wild geese, militaristic falcons, alluring witches, and even Robin Hood! Join the cantankerous and passionate Merlin as he attemps to prepare a boy (fondly known as Wart) to be King Arthur. An adventure of sophistication, wit, and whimsy.
