BOX OFFICE ASSOCIATES and HOUSE MANAGERS
Seattle Public Theater is seeking responsible, initiative-driven and energetic individuals for the position of Box Office Assistant/House Manager for our our 2010-2011 season, which runs from September 2010 through June 2011 at the Historic Bathhouse Theater on Green Lake. Theater or sales experience preferred, but not required. The BOA/HM position is 10 hours a week (during regular box office hours, Wed-Sat, 12pm-5pm). During performance weeks, you will be expected to work 2-8 extra hours during performances, which could include box office or house management shifts. Box Office Assistant duties include selling single tickets and subscriptions in person and over the phone, processing online ticket sales, and general data entry. House Manager duties include supervising usher staff, running the Will Call station, and coordinating with Stage Management to ensure a safe and enjoyable patron experience. Both parts of the position require outstanding customer service skills.
